October 4 is Natrional Frappe Day

It doesn't matter, how you like it, or what flavors you prefer; it doesn't matter if your want it with ice cream, or with whipped cream; it doesn't matter if you like the more conventional coffee-based versions, or the go-crazy-on-fruit kind; you are allowed to rejoice because October 4 is National Frappe Day!!!

Call all your friends out and share this drink with them! If you want a truly happy Frappe party, lace yours with some Bailey's or Kahlua! Woooohooo!

Now that's one happenin' Frappe party!

Try it in a classic tumbler
In a sexy, sophisticated glass, with a quirky choco-syrup design

Try it in a no-frills plastic cup
Or on a warm afternoon by the harbour
Try it freezing cold, filled with blueberries and bananas
Or have an ice-cream topped frappe as a sweet ending!

Party Food:Salt and Pepper Beef + Hoisin Sauce

Today I prepared our dinner, and i thought of a simple recipe, you could try serving on your next house party. The recipe is pretty simple, the ingredients are available anywhere (and they might already be in your pantry), and the procedure is very easy.

Ingredients: Beef strips, Corn Starch, Flour, Salt, Black Pepper, Oil, Garlic, Bell Peppers, Chili Peppers, Sesame Seeds ,and Store-Bought Hoisin Sauce

First, Mix together about a cup of cornstarch and one-fourth cup of flour with a dash of salt and some black pepper. Put the cornstarch-flour mixture inside a plastic tub (tupperware? hehe), and dump the strips of beef. Cover the plastic tub and shake it to dredge the strips of beef evenly.

Fry the beef strips until golden brown, drain the excess oil and set aside.
Mince 6 cloves (or more) of garlic, 2 bell peppers, and one chili pepper (the one you put in Sinigang)
Saute your garlic and bell peppers in oil
Once the bell peppers are tender, add in the chili peppers
Season with a little salt and pepper and then add the -pre-fried beef strips
Your finished product should look like this. It isn't too colorful, but it is very, VERY tasty!
You can serve your beef strips on top of a bowl of hot, steamed rice. Add some store-bought Hoisin sauce (you can add hot water if its too thick), and top with Sesame Seeds . But these steps are optional.

I hope you cook this for your next house party (or even just for tonight's dinner, and enjoy it as much as I did.
